Get started with QA Note in 3 steps

Step 1: Sign Up & Create an Organization
You can start with the free Solo plan on the QA Note homepage. Sign up using your email, Google, or GitHub account.
After signing up, create an Organization. Enter your organization name and URL slug, and the Solo plan will be automatically assigned.
On the organization dashboard, click the Create Project button to create your first project. Enter the project name and the target QA site URL (optional).
Step 2: Install the Extension
Install the QA Note Extension from the Chrome Web Store. After installation, log in from the popup, select your organization and project, and you're ready to go.

Step 3: Create Your First Issue
- On the website you're testing, click the Extension icon or use the keyboard shortcut (
Cmd+Shift+X/Ctrl+Shift+X). - Drag to select the area you want to capture.
- Use annotation tools (arrows, boxes, number markers, etc.) to highlight the problem area.
- Enter an issue title and description, set the priority and labels, then click the Submit button.
The submitted issue can be viewed on the dashboard. Technical metadata including console logs, network requests, JS errors, and performance metrics are automatically attached.
